Community Impact Across the Globe: Global Volunteer Month 2023

At Ball, we have a long-standing commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work, and we believe that doing so is an integral part of Who We Are. As a global team, we are passionate about what we do and how we do it. Our success is shaped by the communities that sustain us and the causes that matter most to us at Ball.
Global Volunteer Month was an opportunity to engage Ball team members across the globe to make a collective impact in their communities where it is needed most. Donating our time is one of the most valuable things we can do to support the many charitable organizations that are working to create positive change in our local communities.
Collectively, Ball team members donated more than 3,200 hours of their time over six weeks, impacting hundreds of charitable organizations around the world. Ball further supports local communities by amplifying our employees impact by providing volunteer rewards, or donatable dollars, earned for each hour of volunteerism. Volunteer rewards are then donated by employees to their favorite charitable causes, doubling their impact in the community.
Inclusivity is a core tenant of the culture at Ball. During Global Volunteer Month, Ball Networks, also known as employee resource groups, participated in volunteer activities tied to identity and allyship, including a Tiny Home Build for Veteran’s in Colorado, USA and building STEM Education boxes with Girls Inc. of Metro Denver, Colorado.
At Ball, we are champions in our communities during Global Volunteer Month and beyond. We believe in making a positive impact where we live and work all year long and will continue to provide one of the most valuable resources we can give as individuals, our time.
