Best Place to Work

Ball Named a Great Place to Work for LGBT Equality
For the second consecutive year, Ball earned a perfect 100 percent score on the 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The CEI is a national benchmarking survey report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality. It is administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Ball is one of 517 major U.S. businesses that received top marks.

"We are proud to be named one of the Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality again this year and we will continue to focus on the issues that are important to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community," said Manette Snow, vice president, diversity and inclusion.

The 2017 CEI report rated 1043 businesses, evaluating them on LGBT-related policies. These policies and practices include: non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBT community. Ball’s efforts resulted in a 100 percent score and recognition as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality in 2017.
