Ball Aerospace Names Aidan Fitzgerald Vice President of Finance
BROOMFIELD, Colo., Jan. 27, 2023 — Ball Aerospace has selected Aidan Fitzgerald to serve as its vice president of Finance, effective February 3, when the company’s current vice president of Finance, Alison Medbery will retire after 27 years of service. Fitzgerald will be located at Ball Aerospace Headquarters in Broomfield, Colo.
Fitzgerald will lead all financial-related and contractual activities for Ball Aerospace, including overseeing budgets, leading financial planning and analysis, providing financial guidance and making recommendations for the company’s long-term financial profitability.
“Aidan brings extensive knowledge of the industry and a strong background in financial operations and strategy to his new role,” said David Kaufman, president, Ball Aerospace. “As a leader, he places an importance in fostering engagement to provide an inclusive environment and empowering the team - values that align with our Ball Aerospace culture.”
Fitzgerald has held several roles at Raytheon and McKinsey & Company and was most recently the vice president of Finance at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where he led finances for SAIC’s National Security and Space Sector.
