Science with the Habitable Worlds Observatory (HWO) and Beyond takes place July 10-14, 2023 at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in Baltimore, MD. The conference will bring together scientists, technologists, and other stakeholders to discuss the most compelling science drivers for HWO, identity new science areas, and to work toward a feasible development path.
The Astro2020 “Pathways to Discovery” report envisions an ambitious, multi-decadal fleet of cooperating New Great Observatories, beginning with the Habitable Worlds Observatory (HWO). As part of the Science with the Habitable Worlds Observatory and Beyond meeting, Ball Aerospace is sponsoring a reception held on July 13. The meeting coincides with the first complete year of JWST science. The reception aims to celebrate this important milestone.
