Time-critical response

We provide decisive assessments for critical national-level programs with a focus on immediate technology applications.  Since the late 1980s, we have provided rapid, non-traditional test and evaluation (T&E) capabilities to the Department of Defense and other government agencies. In addition, we perform leading -edge laser effects research.    

Ball delivers developmental and operational assessments on emerging technologies as well as accelerated life cycle testing of space components.  Our focus is on warfighter needs that will deploy emerging technologies to meet immediate requirements.  Our forte is providing assessments that are planned, executed and analyzed in a matter of weeks to months – not years.  The “sweet spot” for our work is the intersection of time-critical warfighter requirements that also possess strict security constraints.

Representative technologies include C4ISR sensors and systems, counter–RCIEDs, space focal plane arrays and associated devices, information operations/warfare, and remote detection systems.
