Our capabilities range from providing fully autonomous systems with no human input to minimally autonomous systems with primarily human inputs. It depends on what mix works best for each situation.
We develop and integrate best-of-breed technologies to improve training, help warfighters make better decisions, push them to their maximum potential and augment them to sustain performance in needed situations. Our tools collect the necessary data to provide insight into mission performance and enhance effectiveness of mission debriefs. Other tools we develop for warfighters include real-time and virtual immersive training environments, human-in-the-loop simulation, battlespace visualization, threat system modeling and UAV command and control technologies.
Our Integrated Cockpit Sensing system provides real-time monitoring and analysis of pilot health, the cabin environment, and life support systems to improve pilot safety and performance. The system is designed to help detect, mitigate and provide insight into in-flight Physiological Episodes (PE) that adversely impact the physical and cognitive abilities of pilots, risking their ability to return home safely.

Autonomy & Collaboration
How can machines help us and in what areas do we need help? An example is the highly successful Semi-Autonomous Motorcar (SAM) project. We designed the interface that allowed a quadriplegic race car driver to operate a specially modified car at close to racetrack speeds. This is just one way our technology can help restore an important degree of performance.
We led the development of the human-machine interface and the driver guidance system on the Semi-Autonomous Motorcar project.
A long partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory is invaluable in helping us identify novel technology and apply it to real systems. These systems are designed to operate semi-autonomously with human input at critical decision-making points, enhancing human performance and capabilities through two-way communication and shared decision-making. We partner with our customers to discover the science, develop the technology and deliver the capabilities that optimize safety and performance.
