Coffee in a can: the modern pick-me-up.

To keep up with their on-the-go lifestyles, more and more consumers are turning to coffee drinks in a can. It just makes sense. After all, cans are portable, they’re easy to refrigerate, and they’re ready to drink (RTD) when you need to fight the afternoon crash. Ball manufactures a wide range of can formats designed for caffeine-loving consumers. Our most notable format is the Sleek can. Plus, the Widget, our latest innovation, recreates the creamy head found only at the coffee shop, which allows coffee drinks to taste more authentic than ever before.

A coffee shop experience. In a can.

Nothing is better than a fresh cup of coffee from your local barista. Thanks to Ball’s new Widget Can, this experience is available beyond the café. With the Widget Can, a plastic insert is placed at the bottom of the can and is charged with Nitrogen before filling. When the can is opened, the pressure drop discharges Nitrogen to give your milk and coffee drinks that creamy, frothy head only found at coffee shops. It’s the perfect can for a cappuccino or iced latte in a can.

Not just a can, a canvas.

You can’t have cold brew coffee without a brand to support it. One of the many benefits of the can is that it provides marketers with a little extra real estate, making the branding opportunities endless. Ball is the leader in graphics innovation to help you stand out among the rest of the shelf, and we offer a handful of techniques - from photo-real imagery to Thermochromatic and Tactile ink - to bring it all to life.

A better plan, a better can.

From the big picture to all the tiny moving parts, we treat every detail with the same level of importance. You have to when you manufacture more than 50 billion recyclable cans a year. When you walk into one of our manufacturing facilities, you’ll see that every stage of the manufacturing process is done with careful precision and with world-leading manufacturing technology. These streamlined techniques start at stage one with the coil cutter and continue all the way through to the can’s end.
