Latapack-Ball Embalagens Ltda. is increasing can capacity in its newly constructed aluminum beverage can plant in Tres Rios, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
The new can line, the plant's second manufacturing line, is scheduled to start up early in the first quarter of 2011. The line is necessary to meet the growing demand for cans in Brasil.

Latapack-Ball Embalagens Ltda. is a 50-50 joint venture between Latapack S.A. and U.S.-based Ball Corporation.
