Ball has taken part in some of the most noteworthy aerospace missions in recent memory

When we get wind of a new and exciting mission, we’re already inventing the technology to make it happen. For the Kepler mission we designed and built the largest camera NASA has ever flown into space, and Kepler continues its mission to find exoplanets to this day. For the Hubble, we built seven different instruments, one of which corrected the telescope’s initial flawed optics.
