Alan Frohbieter
Alan Frohbieter is the vice president and technical director for Ball Aerospace.  As Vice President and Technical Director, Frohbieter is responsible for facilitating innovative technology collaboration and successful program execution strategies across the company. He is also responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of new technologies and processes. 

Frohbieter had held many leadership positions at Ball Aerospace. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Space Products where he was responsible for program execution, system design and space hardware product line management for the Commercial Space, Civil and Operational Space and National Defense strategic business units.

Frohbieter joined Ball Aerospace as the Program Manager for the QuickBird program in the mid-1990s. Prior to joining Ball Aerospace, he had a 14-year career Lockheed Martin Astro Space (formally RCA AstroSpace). While at Lockheed Martin he served in various roles including program management, systems engineering and spacecraft design engineering.

Frohbieter earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. His hometown is East Windsor, NJ.
