Basic and Applied Aerospace Research and Technology (BAART) is a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that provides innovative solutions for NASA’s technical and procurement goals for theoretical, analytical, and computational modeling and simulation.
The contractor shall furnish all personnel, facilities, equipment, material, supplies, and services, as may be expressly set forth in the contract task orders. This contract may be used to support all NASA Centers that require work within the scope of the contact PWS.

BAART Capabilities:
Ball Aerospace provides technical services across a diverse customer base, including the Department of Defense, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Intelligence Agencies, non-Defense agencies, and commercial customers. For this contract Ball provides expertise in:
  • Technical Track A: Advanced Materials and Structural Systems, Aerodynamics, Aerothermodynamics, and Acoustics
  • Technical Track C: Entry, Descent, and Landing
